History Mick Beveridge and Henry Tombs restored Lotus 7s, 23s and 23Bs, trading as Xanthos Sports Cars, for over 15 years. In 2003 the Xanthos name was sold and Xtra Special Sevens was set up (Xanthos now operates independently, continuing to build the Xanthos 23B, a modern incarnation of the Lotus 23B). The Lotus Seven part of the business was acquired by Alan Wesson, a long-time car restorer, rust repair specialist and admirer of Lotus and Lancia cars www.westernlancia.co.uk. Alan also runs www.oldcaraccessories.co.uk almost certainly the largest collection of period classic car accessories from 1930-1970 in the world About us We can rebuild, repair or provide any part you need for any Seven, however sad its condition, or just make your car look like the car in the pictures. Alternatively, we can just supply the parts or services you need to repair your own car. If you are a Lotus Seven owner (or even just a wannabe!), then give us a call – we love talking about Sevens, and advice is free... Pictures and parts!
